In Loving Memory...

Olana MacArthur
Two years ago she changed our lives by telling us she had chosen us to be the parents of her soon to be born son. This week on May 27th, the Lord chose to take her home to be with Him. We miss her terribly and we are grieving so much for Benjamin, who really just barely came to a point of knowing and remembering her between visits. But we are rejoicing in the knowledge that she is in Heaven and I know for sure that she is not just walking, but dancing and laughing on those streets paved with gold. We love you Olana and can't wait to see you when we get to Heaven too!

My name is Shon Brown. I was blessed to know and be a close friend to the beautiful, valiant and loving Olana MacArthur. Yes it is very saddening and unfortunate she is nolonger with us, but her jubilant spirit continues to live in my heart and that of her most precious gift to this world, Benjamin.

Olana MacArthur was not only a daughter, mother, and friend, but a cousin to me. A family member that I rarely saw and interacted with. I watch her in her younger days as a child play and explore the world as she was growing up. It has been sometime since I saw Olana, so much time in fact I can't remember exactly when. So now feeling the regret of not knowing her as she grew up, I now have the remorse knowing that I will not get to watch her grow any older, become the mother she wanted to be, or introduce her to my family. Olana will always be the small child with the big heart and glowing smile that I remember her to be.My dearest cousin Olana, we will miss you and know that wherever you may go there is always the chance that you are watching over your son Benjamin and the rest of your family and friends. We will miss you!

Love Always and Forever,

My name is Gwen Wilbanks & Olana was my grandniece. What a lovely tribute to a vibrant, funny,& beautiful young woman. She touched so many lives and was a positive influence on my 14 year old grand-daughter, Leah. What a comfort to know Olana will live on through Benjamin. He is blessed to have the loving parents that she chose for him & I can't wait to meet this amazing family. God Bless you Olana & know your child is in loving hands. We miss you.

I was lucky to have been a friend of Olana's. One thing I can say about Olana, is anyone who ever met her, will never forget her.
She always ended her phone calls with an I love you. She went to church and was truely greatful for everything that she had.
She cherished her relationships that she had with Benjamin and mom and dad Davis. Anyone who talked to Olana for longer than ten minutes, knew how much she loved Benjamin.
She also loved her mother very much. Olana had so much love in her heart. My family and I grieve for the family and friends of Olana Macarthur. Such a young beautiful person inside and out. Olana was funny and honest, had compassion, and will truely be missed. I haven't seen any funeral arrangement for Olana. If anyone knows, can you post that?

I was blessed to know Olana MacArthur. We weren't the closet of friends, but I truly cherished the friendship that we did have. These days it is difficult to meet nice people anymore, but Olana was definitely one of them. Just genuinely nice, straight from the heart. She was always willing to lend a hand and always trying to dress me up (haha). I will miss you girl. It is sad to know that I wont be seeing your pretty face, but I know you are in a good place. A place where you will be happy and free. A place that you, sweet Olana, really deserve to be.

I can't asseverate how bad I miss Olana and how much she meant to me, but I can't blame the Lord for wanting his angel back home...she was loved by so many, it's so doleful and tragic things happened this way. She is alive in my heart and my dreams, I will never forget Olana, may she find peace with the Lord.
I LOVE YOU OLANA!!!
